Events, Conferences and Meetings in the Tweed
Situated in New South Wales right on the border with the Gold Coast and Queensland, the Tweed is ideally located to capture all you could desire for your conference or meeting. Recently accepted into the prestigious Australian National Landscapes Program, the region has been recognized as one of Australia’s superlative landscapes dating back 20 million years with the southern hemispheres largest shield volcano. Australia’s Green Cauldron - once a volcanic hotspot ...now a living Gondwanan rainforest. The area is also renowned for its World Heritage listing as Gondwanan Rainforests, the world’s largest remaining stretches of subtropical rainforest.
Access: Easily accessible by air via the Gold Coast Airport which is right on our doorstep; the Brisbane Airport, a one hour drive to the north; or the Ballina Airport, one and a half hours to the south. The Brisbane and Gold Coast Airports both offer a wide range of national and international flights.
Accommodation: Ranging from luxurious five star resorts to more affordable three and four star accommodation, motels, holiday caravan parks and b’n’bs; many in close proximity to one another to allow delegates to make their own choice. Many with a variety of conference and meeting room facilities.

Not to forget of course the long stretches of secluded beaches and some of the world’s best surf breaks along with subtropical marine reserves where leopard sharks, a diverse range of fish and an abundance of turtles can be viewed.
